Team Armalite Captain, Greg Jordan, took home the 1st place trophy and a check for $25,000 at the NRA World Shooting Championship match held at Peacemaker National Training Center in Gerrardstown, WV over the weekend.

Every year, the NRA World Shooting Championship match draws the top professional and amateur shooters from around the world to compete in a wide variety of disciplines to demonstrate their skills across all types of shooting. It is a unique challenge as all firearms for every stage is provided by generous match sponsors, taking the gear out of the equation. This format allows the NRA World Championship to truly find out who is the best all-around shooter and deserving of being crowned World Champion.

After 12 grueling stages of disciplines ranging from multi-gun, pistol, cowboy action, and PRS long range, Greg Jordan ultimately came out on top and received the coveted title of World Champion. “This is my 4th year competing at the NRA WSC. With a 2nd place finish in 2016, I’m extremely excited to finally take home the win! I have learned a ton from shooting this match over the years and would encourage anyone, from any discipline, to come out and give this match a try. Thank you to my sponsors: Armalite, Surgeon Rifles, McMillan Firearms, AWC Silencers, Nexus Ammo, Leupold, Proof Research, Timney Triggers, STI, Sport Ear, MGM Steel, Vertx, Browning, Lucas Oil, and XRail for allowing me to represent them in such a trying match. I will be returning in 2018 to defend this title!” says an excited Greg Jordan.
