All payments should be by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cashiers Check, or Money Order unless company check or credit terms have been pre-approved by ArmaLite.  Illinois residents add 6.75% Sales Tax and provide State Tax Number.

You can email your order into us with your name, address, daytime telephone number, credit card number, expiration date and 3 digit security code on the back of the card.  We won't bill you until the product ships.

 

 

FFL HOLDERS

ArmaLite requires a current, hand-signed hard copy or faxed copy of your FFL before processing dealer orders.  Also, write your phone number and email address on your FFL before sending it in.  Please have your ArmaLite account number ready when ordering.  The second, third, and last five digits of your FFL number is your ArmaLite account number.

If you own a firearm that would be subject to a recall, call 800-336-0184 Ext 211 for instructions regarding return of the recalled firearm or component.  If you have already returned your firearm or component under a recall, you do not need to return it again. 

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING FIREARMS FOR REPAIR/UPGRADE: 

1. Before seeking any service on your ArmaLite firearm: use the troubleshooting guide in the Operator's Manual to attempt to solve the problem; perform all instructed maintenance; and assure that ammunition and magazines are correct and in good condition.  Shop rates plus the cost of return shipping will be applied if no covered defect is found.

2. Call ArmaLite Customer Service and obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.  During the call, provide our Customer Service Associate with all of the information requested so that we will be able to expedite resolution of your problem.  ArmaLite will not accept for service any firearm received without a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.  Call 800-336-0184 Ext 211 to receive your RMA number. 


3.  Include all needed documentation with your firearm when you return it.  Include a letter that:
     a. describes the problem that you’re experiencing;
     b. provides all of your contact info (name, address, email, phone, etc) so that we can contact you if necessary
     c. lists the RMA number given to you by our Customer Service. 
     d. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY, YOU MUST ALSO INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR ATF FORM 4473 OR A DATED BILL OF SALE WITH YOUR 

         NAME AND ADDRESS, OR A SALES RECEIPT. 


If your letter is incomplete, or illegible, we will not be able to honor the warranty and we may not be able to complete needed repairs, so please write legibly. 


Note:  Rather than writing a letter, you may, if you choose, print a copy of ArmaLite’s Return Material Authorization (RMA) form from our website, fill it in completely, and send it with your firearm.  If you’re seeking warranty repair, don’t forget to include your proof of purchase as described in 3.d. above and a good day time phone number and/or email address.

4. Remove all ammunition and accessories (scopes, slings, bipods, etc) from the firearm.

     WARNING: MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT THE FIREARM IS UNLOADED!!!  BELIEVE IT OR NOT, WE SOMETIMES GET FIREARMS BACK THAT ARE LOADED!!!

     WARNING: IT IS ILLEGAL TO SHIP LIVE AMMUNITION OR SPENT CASES WITH ANY FIREARM THAT YOU ARE RETURNING TO ARMALITE® FOR SERVICE.            

     WARNING:  IT IS THE OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSURE THAT ANY PARTS THAT ARE PURCHASED FROM ARMALITE® ARE CORRECTLY FITTED AND INSTALLED.  IMPROPER FITTING OR INSTALLATION MAY RESULT IN INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGE/MALFUNCTION OF THE FIREARM.


5.  Package the firearm carefully, inclosing a copy of the letter (and, for warranty repair, a copy of your ATF Form 4473 / bill of sale / receipt).  Proper packaging and prepaid shipment (including insurance) of a firearm to ArmaLite is the customer's sole responsibility.

Please use only one case to ship your firearm to ArmaLite for service.  No double boxes except for 50 caliber shipments.  Thank you.
Firearms that you wish to return for warranty work or out-of-warranty repair may be returned directly to ArmaLite.  You are not required to ship them through an FFL. If shipping through and FFL a copy of the FFL must be included.

6.  Write your RMA number on the outside of the box as part of the ArmaLite address.   Ship to:

7. Keep your shipping receipt and the serial number of the firearm for your records in case of loss in shipment.  ArmaLite will return the firearm to the customer shipping prepaid if the problem was covered under warranty.

8. ArmaLite MUST return the firearm to the person or company that shipped it to us.  If no cost is incurred, your rifle will be automatically shipped to the return address. (No phone call.)
If non-warranty work needs to be performed, we will contact your regarding the cost of such repairs and get your approval before beginning any work.
All firearms shipped to you after repair will require an adult signature at your address for proof of receipt.
 ArmaLite continually improves the technical specifications and manufacturing techniques of our firearms, which may cause the latest products to look or perform differently from earlier products.  The ArmaLite Custom Shop will update, at your request, earlier firearms to current factory specifications, to the degree possible, at current shop rates.  These updates are not generally covered under warranty.

SAFETY AND SECURITY OF YOUR TRANSACTIONS WITH ARMALITE

ArmaLite is concerned about the safety and security every contact and purchase that you make with us. We want to ensure that our transaction process is extremely safe and that our customers' information is secure.

When buying on any online venue, caution must always be practiced.

The overwhelming majority of online transactions are completed without incident. ArmaLite has developed the following guidelines to help ensure that your online shopping experience is safe and secure.

Protect your passwords.

  • Always log yourself out when you complete an online session.
  • Keep your passwords private. Anyone who knows your password may access your account.  Don’t write your passwords down where they may be found by others.
  • When creating a password, use at least 6 characters--a combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, e-mail address, or other personal information that can be easily obtained. We also recommend that you change your password frequently.
  • Avoid using the same password for multiple online accounts.
  • Passwords are case sensitive. For instance, "abcdef9" and "ABCDEF9" are two different passwords. When choosing a password, remember the capitalization you use.

Be wary of unsolicited e-mail and telephone contacts.

  • In the unlikely event that we have a problem with your personal or credit card information, we may contact you by phone or email.  If you receive a contact asking for personal information and you aren’t certain if it is actually ArmaLite calling, merely ask to call us back.  Get the name of our caller and call him back on the ArmaLite phone number.  Then you will be certain that you aren’t being spoofed.  If you receive a suspicious e-mail with a link to update your account information, do not click on the link--instead go directly to www.armalite.com and then to your account.
  • If you are contacted by, or receive an unsolicited e-mail from an unknown entity, and are asked to confirm or provide your password or personal or banking information, simply disregard the request.
